Working with editorial staff and the company’s founder,
we helped American Girl create the contemporary girl
brand. Our team established the face and voice of the
magazine and extended it to the American Girl library,
products, and retail venues.
How do you get kids really involved in what you want
them to learn? We worked directly with editors to design
and art direct an exciting series of themed publications
that serve as reading textbooks for second graders in
the “SuperKids” curriculum.
Fisher Price had never published a shop-at-home catalog
before, much less one that brought together its well-known
toys and a new apparel line. Would the catalog detract
from retail sales? With great products and our compelling
design, retail sales climbed!
Kindermusik, an educational music company, asked us
to help design and brand a new line of products, including
books, CDs, packaging and catalogs. Do-Re-Me & You!
was their first foray into publishing. We helped them
understand the process and worked with artists and
editors to achieve a unified look.
Thomas the Train now has so many products that
sometimes it’s hard for parents and kids to keep, uh,
track. So we created a catalog that serves as both
checklist and storybook – something families would
want to hold onto.
Inspiring children with a lifelong love of reading and
learning is the mission of this educational publisher. We
redesigned Cricket, their catalogue of magazines, books
and educational products, to reflect that mission.
Mattel had decided to create a line of children’s books
to support its Matchbox brand toys. We developed
the concept and the art direction, bringing a storyline to
the toys, engaging children in interactive play – and
driving sales.
Zoobooks wanted to extend their line of animal-themed
magazines to infants and toddlers. We provided both
editorial and art direction for eight issues of Zoobies, an
interactive magazine emphasizing key developmental
concepts.
