KAD partnered with the Joyce Foundation to release Teacher Quality: What You Need to Know, a narrative, guidebook, and website for improving the performance of our nation’s school teachers. Aimed at parents, community leaders, school administrators, and policy makers, the materials illustrate the story of two teachers: one who receives the right support to help her students succeed and one who does not. The publication also includes a ‘how-to’ section, outlining ways to take action. The stories have sparked discussion amongst policymakers across the country, as featured this week on WBEZ's Eight Forty-Eight program. Listen to John Luczak, education program manager at Joyce, discuss the initiative.
